If one looks into the current global situation oil crisis is a major issue. With the rising prices of oil more and more manufacturers are looking to making cars that are fuel-efficient. Some companies are even looking at alternative power for the cars. There are other different sources like electricity, solar energy, fuel cell powered cars, hybrid cars and so on.
According to the stats given by the scientist crude oil and natural gas would be around for the next three hundred years. These cars also require car insurance, as driving it is very risky.
Since there is very less time it is important that we get the solution to look for an alternative fuel or energy to feed the needs of the growing population so that we will not have major crisis in the future. Hybrid cars seem to be one of the closest alternatives at present as it is a combination of both fuel and electric energy.
The electric motor provides additional energy to the cars engine and thereby reducing the fuel consumption. The electric motor is fitted to the battery so when the car slows down or when the breaks and applied this battery will charge the electric motor.
